Titan Cell Development
Confidential work — no public video available
What?
Development of soft/non-real-time equipment modules (Cells) for Titan, a crane-style robotic arm 3D printer for concrete construction.
How?
Utilized a proprietary in-house framework to build distributed processes communicating over ZMQ. Developed cell logic incorporating Elmo Motion Control for servo drives and integrated the Acontis EC-Master for the EVT robotic arm across a hybrid monolithic–distributed architecture.
Results
Successfully decoupled hard real-time tasks from distributed cell logic, enabling scalable and modular operation of the Titan robotic system and the Material Conveying Unit (MCU).
